As part of the inauguration of the new kitchen ‘Cuisine Without Borders,’ an advanced culinary training center that will provide education to over 1500 young people and adults nationwide, Pequeños Pasos received the distinction as a ‘Argentina Country Brand’ entity, awarded by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Nation.
The Secretary of Tourism Promotion, Yanina Martínez, presented the recognition, highlighting ‘Pequeños Pasos’ purpose, values, and social commitment in providing opportunities for sustainable development and improving the quality of life for communities at social risk.
On his part, Matías Ronconi, President of Pequeños Pasos, stated: «It fills us with pride to be able to develop programs that contribute to Argentina for the past 16 years. This certificate allows us to be international representatives of our wonderful country, to take charitable efforts and our voice worldwide with the endorsement of the Country Brand. We are deeply grateful for this recognition.
Since 2004, Argentina has had a Country Brand that serves as a state policy, aiming to position our country on the international stage through its distinguishing factors such as traditions, culture, products and services, national talent, and tourist destinations.
It positions us in the world by highlighting aspects that enable the enhancement of our competitiveness on the international stage, showcasing products and associated values.
Similarly, the Country Brand contributes to the strengthening of our sense of belonging and pride in being Argentine. It is a tool for national growth and development, with an implementation strategy that should endure over time.
